The Lady Puzzlers Grand Ladies, All Their sturdy Hands of Affirmative Action Worn and frail Familiar with putting together The Puzzling Pieces of Other Lives - Other Worlds The Puzzle Room A Social Space A large oak table strong and true To hold the gathering Puzzle Pieces all together For Everyone to view Every Neighbor - Every smiling Friend, saying, “That one’s sure comin’ along - Won’t be long til you’re at the end - All the Pieces found - All the Puzzle Pieces fitted in Busy Hands if Order - Color coordinating All of the watery blues and greens All of the earthy browns and blacks to be seen All of the fiery yellows and reds All of the airy silvers and whites dancing above our Heads This Puzzle put together by so many Loving Hands Illuminated Faces from familiar and foreign lands A kaleidoscope of Envisioning What is to Be - If this Piece fits here - what’s next? What do you think Sister Minnie? Don’t really know Sister Evelyn But give the Puzzle Piece in your Hand a try - Pick a spot - If it won’t fit in - go back to the untried Pieces And try all over again Gently pushing down - firmly placing the Pieces Into this spot and that With probing, weathered Hands Minnie, Evelyn, Millie and Doris All Sage Daughters of Eve Move mountains, valleys, oceans and civilizations On top of that magnificent table of oak With determined, patient ease Looking for the Whole of what the Puzzle is to Be Resolute in the Sharing of all of the Puzzle’s intricate Mysteries They are, after all - The Lady Puzzlers Grand Ladies, All Their sturdy Hands of Affirmative Action Worn and frail - tell the Tale Always willing to Answer the Puzzle’s beckoning Call The Lady Puzzlers Work until the Puzzle’s Tapestry is Complete It’s artistic and meaningful Design is unfurled The Lady Puzzlers Hands of Creative Intention are Familiar with putting together the Puzzling Pieces of Other Lives - Other Worlds February 12, 2010
