Here at Finland's original Ovi magazine we don't usually send out a newsletter to our subscribers unless we have something we really want to celebrate. Today we have such an event.

We are celebrating our 2,000th article and it comes 14 days before our first anniversary as a daily online magazine. The 2,000 contributions consist of essays, commentaries, reviews, analyses, cartoons, poetry and columns in a variety of languages.

Established in December 2004 as a non-profit project, we have worked tirelessly to present the opinions, portfolios and talent of over 120 people from around the world and attracted a dedicated readership of over 1,500 people a day.
